Back to Rome (Back Blip)

After Pompeii we headed back to Rome for a few more days which was great as it gave us time to wander and see a few more of the tourist sights that we had missed during our first few days there.
I had a few photos to choose from for this blip - the Pantheon, the Piazza Navona and it's beautiful fountains for instance. However, on the day when we were wandering around near the Piazza Navona, the sight of these ancient old walls protruding from some of the newer buildings really summed up Rome for me in some way. It looks as thought the newer buildings have just been butted up to and built around these old structures.
