Rainy day

It's cold out there and rainy.

Someone let their dog do it's "business" right outside our gate this morning and I am less than impressed. Shoes off is today's main rule on entering our house.

We did have fun this morning though with D who popped in to visit (with a little chauffering by me & my "not so" little one) and we played cards and drank coffee with her for a few hours. She had an accident a few weeks ago and her knee looks incredibly painful.

I have an afternoon of form filling to look forward to. DWP seem to think it's fine to send a 24 page capability for work questionnaire by 2nd class post in the xmas rush. Nice one. It will need a quick turnaround to get it back before the deadline.

Fortunately I have a carer booked to help out with the boys whilst I look at it. The forms are so depressing. I'll probably need an early night after filling it in.

The champagne remains unopened. But at least the washing is up to date and I have warm slippers.
