Ninth Day of Christmas

On the ninth day of Christmas
I looked around to see
Nine school guitars
Eight making merry
Seve(n)ral friends to see the year in
Six veggie sushi, 
Five gold beers
four choral songs
three saxes  
(and some extras)
Two black crows
but no Asda Christmas pudding luxury 
(cos I ate it yesterday)

So that was January 2nd 2018. No class to teach, did stuff. Finished up at Bizim Tepe after work - well it is Tuesday.  End of the semester is on the horizon, as department heads meeting discussed such fascinating things as the final exams schedule and how to reinvent the wheel ..... again...
