Things you can see only when you slow down

This time of quiet at Christmas and New Year has always been a favourite. It used to be that people were able to relax for some time without everyone wanting immediate action.

Ban on email, twitter and all other forms during this time was our mantra-but I particularly liked it because it allowed me to do what it says above.

So in honour of that tradition I’ve decided no tweeting for the rest of the week, no peeking at emails and turn off the MacBook.

It’s time to re-read the things I have definitely missed in 2017 to prepare for the future. I’m the glass half full person so I’m ever hopeful of a better 2018 for adult learning. How could I not be?

What Government would say they didn’t want their adults and children to be well educated?

Surely not the one I voted for?
