Upheaval!

No 2 son has offered to redecorate my bedroom as it will earn him some much needed money.  He does it very well and I would take three times as long to do it myself.  It was last decorated many many moons ago.  We visited the DIY store (my OAP discount day) and after much discussion and looking at thousands of tins of paint have ended up with a very similar colour to the present decor (surprise! surprise!).  The problem is that it has to match the current curtains and bedding etc as I have no intention of changing them.  I had planned to have it done later in the year.  He said he could paint my pine furniture but I have declined that offer. 
Decided my much used rollers have long since seen better days and splashed out on some new ones.

A second plumber is coming on Friday to give me a price for revamping my bathroom.  He was late returning my call as he moved house over Christmas.  Have just discovered that the man who has already given me a quote has also moved house in the last couple of weeks.  Weird!
