Some coffee and sunshine

In the winter, nothing goes better with my coffee than some sunshine (and later, a blue sky). It is wonderful to have time to notice and appreciate these simple things.

Walked around Green Lake today with a couple of friends and my pup. Such a gorgeous day. Since we were walking fast, I didn't stop to take any photos so I went out later to the small park with the ponds and ducks. I was hoping that the huge blue heron that frequents those waters would be there, but no luck. I did take some other pictures but they didn't turn out sharp enough - I am going to have to try a monopod at least. I took pictures of robins, junkos, and ducks.
