Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!
In the past 24 hours, I've ran 10k, lifted free weights for an hour (800 reps in all), bent my body into some weird and wonderful positions with 45 minutes of combined yoga, tai chi and pilates and worked my core abdominals like a demon.
I really enjoy going to the gym and exercise makes me feel not only good physically but mentally too. It also focuses my mind and provides a healthy dose of discipline which is sometimes needed.
Gym etiquette is also important to me so here's some of my pet hates. Feel free to add to them.
1. Don't just sit on a machine and stare into space. It's annoying.
2. Don't wear yellow in the gym. That's annoying too.
3. If you've been swimming, don't drip all over the changing room floor. That's also annoying.
4. Don't wear a hat in the gym. That's not only annoying but stupid too.
5. Don't run on the treadmill with the hood up on your sweat top. You just look like a dick.
6. Ladies, please don't shriek and squawk in the changing room and/or the sauna. Very, very annoying and totally unnecessary.
7. Don't wear dirty kit. Sweating is perfectly acceptable in the gym but being plain dirty is not.
