Eucalyptus regnans - Day 7
A cold rainy start at Stuart's Saddle warmed up a little as we descended off the mountain. We enjoyed a nice lunch at Pass Creek again before continuing along to Cracroft Crossing. Here, there were some very very large trees, which after a quick google, were probably Eucalyptus regnans, the tallest flowering plant in the world, and the world's 2nd tallest tree. This particular one had a base around 4m wide, and now formed a good 70m stretch of footpath. 10.3km, 200m, 5hours
