Winter Storm Grayson

It's hard to believe that these two images show the same scene!  I took the picture on the right on the evening of January 1st, showing the beautiful "Wolf Moon" rising over Boston.  The picture on the left was taken at 10:30 this morning, as the first wave of winter storm Grayson's snow is blown onshore.  The weather people are predicting about a foot of snow for our city today.  It's already piling up, and the sidewalks are slippery, as I can attest -- just came back from a slog to the Common with Mabel.  She had zero interest in sticking around outdoors once she'd done her duty!!!
