Seven a Day

There is nothing more satisfying than emptying the vegetable drawer in the fridge of every last item that has been lurking therein since Christmas, and the result is an enormous pan of spicy vegetable stew. *extra image.

There is no recipe as such, everything is chopped and thrown into the mix with some spices, kidney beans and chickpeas. The downside is that most of it has to be put into the freezer until we use it and I was hoping to empty the freezer soon to defrost it. I know that needs to be done when the drawers need an extra shove to close them.

His Lordship was complaining this morning that he was lacking a project, having finished his 2017 pictorial holiday diary, and I suggested bravely that if he was desperate, there was always my unprinted 2017 Blipfoto book to consider.
Imagine my surprise when he said he might take on that challenge again, but still hoped that Blipfoto would re-open the shop allowing us to order year books as before, thus saving him from this particular project. It is a mammoth task without an Internet programme to arrange the entries into the format and size to match the shape of the original books.
I’m afraid of breathing in case he changes his mind...........
