And an Old Man of Arran goes around and around

Getting to grips with a new  SLR is difficult when you don't read the manual.  Am having to force myself to.  It's so easy to get lazy with a point and shoot, but it's so nice to be able to choose and focus, and get the depth of shot and  the wobble you like.  (okay - the wobble is an accident, but it features in a lot of the shots).

The sun was shining today, and a late start of 10am.  Im really busy at work; am working mostly 8 - 1800 each day, takes it's toll.   So up and out to the Allotment, I chopped up the unwanted and some soggy brussels, and Himself dug over another section, found me some more daliahs, and a lily.

I borrowed someones wheel barrow and together we moved 8 bags of rubbish down to the gate for easy access to the car.

Then is was check the fridge, check the cupboards and do a shopping list.

Photo time was on route to the shop, because of the sunshine, the beach and the harbour were really busy people and beautiful dogs everywhere.

Shopping was hellishly tedious as ever.

And now we are home.  I've checked the photos - Pretty happy with these ones - Paddy's Milestone, the source of Granite for Curling balls (are they balls? ) No - Himself has just confirmed they are "stones".   I don't know how there is still so much of it left - it's not that big.
