Dallam Tower Estate

Today's the day ............................. to sunbathe

The afternoon sun was probably not strong enough yet to get a tan, but these fallow deer on the estate at Dallam Tower seemed to be quite happy.

The deer park covers some 190 acres running down to the River Bela beside the A6 road that I was travelling along to get to Carnforth.  That rather attractive building with columns is a Grade II listed deer shelter.

A public road and several public footpaths run through the deer park ........................
