Today's the day ......................... for long shadows

Another cold and frosty day - but plenty of sun in the blue sky.

This was taken at about three oclock in the afternoon on our way across to Staveley on the back road from Crook.  Those are the Howgill Fells in the distance.  The sun was very low in the sky and the shadows were long .........................
