Corinthian Quay
A change of scenery today - up to the city for various errands.
When those were done, we decided on a walk by the water, down at Wardie.
A stiff breeze was blowing, and it was so cold that TM wore his most ridiculous hat, bought in the northlands of Canada and adorned with fur-lined peak and earflaps. I had a hand knit one which was no use at all.
Most of the craft of the Royal Forth Yacht Club are high and dry and making a great din with halyards slapping against the aluminium masts. Only a few, one appropriately called 'Defiant' are still in the water.
We didn't linger, and retreated to Ocean Terminal for some food shopping and a quick shot from the top deck of the car park. No cruise liners in today, the sturdy lighthouse tender 'Pharos' was on their berth. (Extra)
I see the Christmas market is still on in Princes Street Gardens. I wish it would just go away!
