Fungus

Before Christmas I went on a fungus identification walk round Southborough Common. Today - working on the Common I found this fungus but cannot for the life of me remember what I learned before Christmas.  I know its not turkey tail  because that is pretty distinctive and even I can remember that one.  I thought this would make a nice  change from photos of people cutting down trees but even better if I knew what it was.
