Glad to be home

Back home after two weeks in the States, we have had a great time but there is always something about being on your own home.

This is very much an emergency blip, 34 hours since I slept (my approach to beating jet lag) and the creativity is very lacking. I wished I'd stopped on the way back doen the M6 from Manchester this morning as the views were stunning. Still we wanted to get back home, we're always glad to be back in our own house.

The cat, Blue, is now sitting at the top of the stairs wondering whether he will be put in the kitchen (as per normal) or whether we will allow him another night of freedom throughout the house. It appears 'the other half' is getting soft as she has just said he can stop up if he wants.
