A Winter Walk

B, A and I did the Bayfield Bird Walk this morning.  It was so good to have some sunshine again, it has been relentlessly gloomy, windy and raining over the past few weeks, so we all made the best of the day.
It’s one of our favourite walks as it has everything, fields, woods, farmland, a river and the best of all, a café in the woods two thirds of the way round.  It even has a bird art gallery at the end, and we enjoyed looking at their latest artwork for sale.
I have been experimenting with various effects in Nik Filters (Silver fx) and created this pared down image from the beginning of the walk.
The extra is a couple with their dog in the low winter sunshine.
