Linctus

Still coughing somewhat, so thought it wise to stay indoors again. The kindly Mr H not only cooked us a delicious meal but went up to the Kirkgate to get food for the birds and linctus for me.

Strange to recall that the last time I had an 'unproductive' cough was when we went to Ireland a couple of years back - I had a part bottle of this stuff but thought it unwise to take on the plane. When I tried to buy a bottle in a pharmacy in Carlow they apologised that they were no longer allowed to sell it, in spite it is being manufactured only about 50 miles away in Clonmel!
