Experimental Photography 8 Again

I went even darker with the exposure today. It helped that the bird was so bright, it would have been difficult to retain detail in both highlights and shadows anyway, so this was an ideal situation for underexposure. I was impressed with how rich looking the wet sand in the background became. It is something I would not have expected, nor ever seen with my standard Lightroom presets, so I am grateful to this challenge for expanding my technique.
