Wrestling
These two play proper rough and tumble together. Charley goes for Ben and Ben is gracious enough to take it, resists just enough to make Charley have to work for it, and then gives just enough to make Charley squeal with laughter :)
Completely forgot swimming was cancelled this morning until we turned up at the pool to find the gates closed... and we'd even found Charley's wetsuit! Ah well. So we walked into town instead, to Lime Cafe. We like Lime. We found their monthly craft fair on and I had a quick browse, and bumped into the mum of one of our friends and stopped for a chat about photography and stalls and things, always nice to meet people you know! The icing on the cake at Lime today was the fact that while we were there their chef was on his break - and was playing the piano, as he usually does. Serious piano cravings. Slightly heartbreaking to realise I am so rusty that I can't just sit down at a piano and play anything.
Anyway the boys weren't interested in food or drink or the beautiful music and instead wrestled each other on the sofas, disturbing I'm sure several other peoples' coffee times!!
Back home we kinda forgot to have lunch while Steve butchered some boxes for under-sofa storage, and I took stock photos of jewellery; then he had to go out and the one bit of cooking I have done all week so far happened and I made overcooked banana muffins which we had for tea as I'd run out of oomph by then to do anything else.
The boys went to bed with a bit of palava. Ben was desperate to go to sleep but Charley wanted to wrestle some more. In the end they both went to sleep ok and I started preparing dinner. At ten o'clock. Which Steve cooked when he got in at half past! He'd been out doing PA for a gig. Charley predictably woke up as we sat down to eat so I had to eat noodles single-handedly while nursing him back to sleep, and Ben woke up from a nightmare just as I started to do some work for Steve so he was all frazzled while I typed as fast as I could.
Bit of an all over the place kind of day, really.
