Last day of classes this semester for the older students. I confess to being less than inspired by the opportunities of the day, it was the lull before the storm, the calm before the frenzy as finals begin tomorrow. 

The Mono Monday theme this week is 'classic' - so here's a classic example of the Ionic column so popular in Classical Greece, and apparently in late C19th/early C20 Istanbul too, as it is used along the facia of our main school building.
