Homeless Jesus

This bronze sculpture of a homeless man lying on a bench was installed behind St George's Tron Church in Glasgow city centre in early December. The holes in the figure's feet suggest the man represents the crucified Jesus.

The sculpture was created by Canadian artist Timothy Schmalz and casts have been placed in a number of cities throughout the world since 2013.

The outside temperature last night fell to around -7. Must have been extremely uncomfortable for the homeless people of Glasgow.
