With the theme being Classic and a busy day at home, I thought this "classic" teapot would fit the bill.  It is even English as we picked it up in London oh so many years ago.  About 1986 or 7 perhaps. 

Today is my dad's birthday.  He's been gone since 1982 but would have been 108 if he was still here.  Always having been a "Daddy's girl", his birthday still is a poignant memory.

Thanks for all the well wishes for the munchkin cat - he seems better tonight.  I picked him up from the veterinary clinic this afternoon and after signing over my first born grandson, we were on our way home.  He has pain pills and antibiotics and a special diet and seems a bit restless but with a good appetite.
