Wharariki Beach
We woke to very light drizzle, but still decided to go out to Wharariki Beach, just about at the tip of the South Island.
This Beach is very well known to produce the most beautiful photos when the conditions are right - blue skies, sun, and calm sea with no wind. We had none of that today, but we still decided to go and have a look. And this is what we saw - rather boring unfortunately! The sand dunes leading up to taking the photo were very special, although walking in the soft sand made it a bit hard to walk in.
We toured back to our camp, stopping in at other Beach/holiday spots on the way. We were real tourists today!
