Search and Rescue

A lot of commotion in the Firth this morning . At 8.15 am the Kessock Inshore Lifeboat was launched, as it had been reported that a man was in difficulties in the water. The Police arrived in Kessock at 8.20 am and then the RAF Sea King Helicopter from RAF Lossiemouth arrived at 8.30 am to help with the search. The Lifeboat was covering every part of the Firth, the Sea King was covering the Firth from east to west as well as hovering in a lot of different places. So far no one has been found. We can only hope and pray that the person will be okay.
