The Hebridean Way

This long distance route was opened last year traversing the Western isles from top to bottom. It often provides decent walking underfoot where before there was bog.
today we tried a bit on South Uist and the majority was a pleasure to walk on. It also means you can more easily get into areas that before required webbed feet.
This heap of stones is Dun Raouil in Loch Druidbeag, our version of a medieaval castle.
