South Uist again

This time the beach at Stoneybridge, to use the Anglicized name. A pretty spot that was the scene of a pilgrimage for birders in the seventies and eighties when in May 1972 a male Steller's Eider took up residence and remained there until August 1984. A real rarity and a pretty bird to boot. No sign of it today....
These rocks were on the shore there with the rounded pebbles looking as if they had been placed there.
