Cleaning da Ayre

It's not much of a day, drizzle showers most of the day, not too windy.

I'm in holiday now for Scalloway Fire Festival, and slept well this morning.  Finally got going after breakfast, and mostly about the house.  Nipped down to see mam on her lunch break, and managed a walk with Sammy.  Been to the galley shed to help out tonight.  Everything in place, but more final adjustments to suits.  Off to work in the pub later. 

While mam was on her lunch break, she joined me for my 2 Minute Beach Clean.  We did a quick sweep across the beach, gathering mostly small plastics, more bottles, another flip flop, and we filled a black bag!  The beach wasn't too bad, but think a lot has swept back into the sea!  I'm enjoying this new year resolution.  Here's mam helping clean the Ayre o Aith, Cunningsburgh.
