Restaurant with a view

And it’s a view I come back to time and again. The restaurant at the Royal Southampton Yacht Club commands a magnificent position overlooking the city’s normally bustling Ocean Village marina. Maybe redevelopment of the marina itself just now means that sailing activity is somewhat curtailed for the moment, yet the view from the restaurant is as fascinating as ever. I have had the privilege of enjoying this vista for getting on for 20 years and its attraction never fades.  Menus may come and go,and variety is invariably one of the attractions.
For me though, it’s arguably the most magical restaurant in town. And it’s the view across the marina from your table which is the icing on the cake.and which enhances any dish  from the kitchen, however tasty...
