London's most famous bridge

A day in London tomorrow, and with it, I hope a chance to catch a glimpse of Tower Bridge which to my mind is one of the unforgettable iconic London landmarks.
My destination is just a short walk away from the Tower, and my favourite way of getting there is by river bus downstream to Tower Pier from the pontoon by the London Eye.
Mind you it is straightforward enough along the Embankment if you drive, but so much more interesting along the river.
Tower Bridge is arguably the most famous bridge in the world and as spanned the Thames since 1894. There is a high-level walkway from one tower to the other and according to reports provides spectacular views of the river and London’s docklands.
I have driven on the roadway across it and travelled beneath on  the river bus. Whichever way you view it remains my favourite symbol of London.
