Blue sky day

A working at home day and it was a lovely sunny day.  I had a quick walk at lunchtime and enjoyed seeing a narcissus in full flower, I also noticed that the first snowdrop is out in the meadow.  It all seems very early.

In other news, Claude caught a mouse and let it go in the house, I managed to catch it and take it back outside.  Several hours later we realised the cats were very quiet, on investigation they were found camped out in front of the washing machine, with mouse number two is behind the machine.  I pulled it out, but the mouse ran into the underside of the machine and is refusing to come out.  Holly has volunteered to keep an eye out for it overnight, probably in the hope of a midnight snack.  Cats!
