Skip's Blips

A deer for today

Would you believe me if I told you I am trying to post something other than deer in my blipfoto journal? Probably not. At this season of the year, in the park where I walk almost every day, deer make the best blips. Spring will come eventually; the deer will return to the deep woods; and my journal will become more varied. For the time being, the deer come right up to me, begging to be blipped. I hope you aren't getting too tired of them. I will keep looking for other things to throw in here along with the deer. I promise!

Dramatic change in our weather today. The temperature actually soared above the freezing mark. I started my walk smothered as usual in scarf, hat, gloves, and jackets, but it wasn't long before I began shedding them item by item. Now don't let your imagination go wild. I only shed the hat, scarf, and gloves, and unzipped both jackets. At that point I was much more comfortable, and the striptease was over. It was a wonderful day for a walk, and tomorrow is supposed to be a few degrees warmer before the deep freeze returns over the weekend.

Look here to see what the deer eat when the ground is covered with snow, and the Ranger is watching to make sure we don't feed them.

Tomorrow is Friday, Blippers. Have a good one!
