Seagull preening

This seagull spent a lot of time keeping up with the grooming.

We went to Mapua again this morning even though there was a slight drizzle and a coldish breeze.  This time it was the whole family who went and we had a lovely browse around the shops there, admiring the wonderful crafts that were for sale. Some people are amazingly clever and full of ideas. We stopped at a cafe for a drink then headed home.

Early tomorrow morning the family leave to go by ferry and car back to Napier. It is going to feel strange here on my own again.
