Pork casserole

Whilst shopping today there was some pork on its sell by date and therefore an attractive price. I thought to help stave off the January blues i’d Buy a seasoning mix - the adverts imply they bring a bit of sparkle to mealtimes - so I had a look at the brand leader.

Quite taken aback to see that less than 10% of the packet was herbs or spices , and as I have sage, bay leaf, thyme and parsley as storecupboard basics anyway, the packet stayed on the shelf and it will be a pork a la Airedale Knitter for tea.
