Tacos Al Pastor

This photograph does not, unfortunately, show off these yummy tacos to their best advantage but it does allow me to wax rhapsodically about these delicious tacos al pastor. It must be the pineapple, I love Hawaiian pizza and Papa Loca potatoes, both of which have copious amounts of piña. Tacos al pastor have but one chunk of cooked pineapple, but that single piece infuses the entire taco with its tanginess and perfectly complements the juicy meat (which is cooked vertically and sliced on the spot to fill each order). Onion, cilantro, and salsa are the only other items on the small corn tortillas. Three or four bites and a taco is gone, but never forgotten. Two orders of five each, with beer, is less than a 100 pesos, about $7 USD. At prices like that, we could eat out every night.
