Horsey Island, Braunton

A frosty start to the morning, but the sun soon warmed things up a bit. After one or two chores took a run out to Braunton, and Velator Quay where I parked, and took a walk along the Tarka Trail to see how the area was recovering from our last storm. The extra photos show the boats on the River Caen, and another part of the Island.The bank was breached and the area was flooded badly. And now of course there is big discussion on who is responsible for the repair. 
Horsey Island adjoins Braunton Marsh. Access is closed for the South West Coast Path, and has been rerouted along the toll road.
