The Adventurous Four

Tom, Jill, Mary and their fisherman friend Andy were staying in Burntisland, a quaint Scottish fishing village on the River Forth. Andy had promised to take them out in his boat but due to a slight ingress of water the others weren't so keen on the idea. With the aid of their binoculars they looked out over the river to the mighty port of Granton where they could see mighty yachts moored and wished that Andy had taken the money he'd made from smuggling drugs into Aberdour for the aspirational but bored middle class residents and invested it in a new boat instead of betting on Hearts to win the 2016-17 Scottish Premiership. So nothing to do but sit, watch the sunset and drink lashings of ginger beer.

Actually, I'd gone to take a photograph of the rather leggy oil rig being loaded onto a ship (see extra) when I came across this group looking the other way. Seemed more interested in the view up river for some reason.

In case there are any pedants out there, I know the "lashings of ginger beer'" quote appeared in the film Five Go Mad in Dorset and wasn't penned by Enid Blyton at all. But then, neither was my opening paragraph.
