Trainspotter
I had a better sleep last night, thank goodness, so felt less of a zombie today.
The two older boys were off to school today and so I spent the morning with the youngest. It has been a wonderful end to my holiday to spend quality time with the grandchildren. My train north was at mid-day so my daughter and young L, aged two, took me to the station. He loves playing with his trains and I took this shot as he was watching a smart Virgin train coming in to the platform.
Having struggled with my heavy suitcase at a change of train and platform in Birmingham, involving steps, I eventually sank into my new seat only to look out of the window to see a poster exhorting passengers to travel with only enough luggage that they are comfortable carrying!!!! I think I should heed that next time!
I am now at my sister's in Lancashire where I left my car almost a month ago. I hope to drive north and home tomorrow and am really looking forward to seeing my two four legged chums again.
