A stitch in time....

As many of you know I am raising money for our local hospice, Sue Ryder Manorlands, by taking part in a Trek of some of the Canyons in the USA. I have various plans including a concert coming up on the 10th February, but my friends at my sewing group have offered to make a group quilt for me to raffle. I suggested a design, taken from a book , not my own idea, which they all liked so on Monday we are having a longer sewing session and making a start. As far as possible we are using scraps leftover from other quilts. Today I have managed to make a few blocks so that when we meet on Monday we have a head start.
