Save the bramble!

I always feel they're cut back way too early, as look at this one & look at all the new buds! Ok so if the rain doesn't batter it down, nor the wind come to blow it's petals. But on a warm, dry day (what are those exactly?) this will be an excellent vital nectar giving plant for an insect, maybe a late bee, a hover fly or even a red admiral butterfly that can be seen all year round if the weather is not so cold.
As for you know who...
Swing to me Larry!
I really don't feel well at all. I think with this new venture, the excitement has got the better of me & I just feel run down & shattered. Oh for some nice weather, then I can forget all & go somewhere nice for the day! :) xxx
