2018 Thursday — Farmers Market

Even though I did not include any soup photos, we had gone to this lovely outdoor venue, the Farmers Market, to get a jar of Stephanie’s delicious split pea soup. Stephanie’s schedule has been interrupted by the holidays and then she got the flu and missed all of last week. So today was our first opportunity since the holidays to purchase her delicious meal in a bottle.

My photo does not reveal the size of the crowd, but the parking lot was absolutely full. It was a summer-like day in January. We often mention to ourselves that we have the best summers during this first month of the year. That’s because the Pacific Ocean nearest us often gets foggy in summer.

This has been a lovely Thursday on California’s Central Coast.
