2019 Friday — Granddaughter Ashly

I was delighted to learn that granddaughter Ashly (without an e), had spent the day at Los Angeles Zoo with her friend Lindsay.

Ash told me LA Zoo lets visitors get pretty close to the animals. The giraffe’s nickname is Boo, and $5.00 would purchase three branches to feed her.

Ash also told me she walked over 4 miles while at the zoo.

Here on California’s Central Coast the rain started sometime after 2:00 this afternoon and it has poured this afternoon and evening.
