Stormy Seas

It was a lovely day today, but the seas were big. 3 metre surf this morning as I watched the big ships pull up anchor and start the working week after sitting there for the last 2 days.

After this bracing walk we went to Duff House in Banff (big stately home, lots of paintings of posh people, nice tearoom .. you know the score), followed by a walk around the town and a visit to the famous "Spotty Bag Shop" .

After another pint of speckled hen, I'm going to dig out my tripod and try my hand at star trails.
