Happy birthday

We have warmth. We were still snuggled under the duvet when the doorbell rang at 8.15 this morning and it didn’t take long for the gas engineer to discover that the fan had burned out and that he had a replacement in the van. How lucky and so grateful.

JJ managed to get the immersion heater working before we went to bed last night so we were thankfully warm and clean. Apparently they have reset buttons. Who knew that?

I had a very gloopy walk through the woods this afternoon and noticed the snowdrops are well under way.
