Freezing Inverness

It turned bitterly cold as we crossed The Minch back to the mainland and tipped up in Inverness for tonight’s launch event at the Eden Court Theatre. My publisher’s ace marketing man, Ron, dug out his cold weather gear and ended up looking like a rather sinister minder.

This was in marked contrast to his appearance at breakfast (today’s extra). You’d have thought all that food might have kept him warm!!
