A Quiet Moment
I went shopping again for groceries today -- this time at the Food Co-Op. Cynthia had a coupon offering a discount of 5, 10, or 15%, depending on the amount spent. I needed to spend at least $150 to get the 15% off -- far more than needed for groceries. C suggested stocking up on beer -- problem solved!
After lunch I went to meet daughter S in the lounge at the Semiahmoo resort, where she's staying. She treated me to drinks and appetizers -- oysters on the half shell, crab dip with flatbread, and a huge platter of shrimp. The portions were so generous that we decided we didn't want dinner, but felt the need for a little exercise.
Chase, the dog, was in need of a lot of exercise -- as always. He's the most energetic dog I've ever known. I tried to take photos of him retrieving his ball, but he was in perpetual motion, and I got a lot of blurred photos. Back in my daughter's room, Chase eventually calmed down for some cuddling before his bedtime.
