Home again home again jiggety jig

So we bid farewell to Charlie and Rory, smiling gently as they went off to work and we didn't... and set about one last day in Munich. Most of the day was spent in the Deutsches Museum, which is large enough and interesting enough to warrant a week's visit. But we had only a few hours. This shot is taken from the planetarium roof, which is why there seems to be a copper onion to the right hand side.

An uneventful and pleasant flight home via Cardiff (nice airport; quiet) and then a bit of a teeth grind as I found a PCN from the Mersey Bridge - remember this day? I'm appealing it on the basis of the lack of reasonable means to pay (it's an online payment only) and as such is iniquitous and arbitrary. But I have at least paid the £2 toll now! Honestly, it's hard enough keeping your eyes on the traffic, much less taking down bloody web site addresses as you drive!

Hey ho. Happy to be home, but it was a splendid weekend with a couple of lovely people. Well, I would say that wouldn't I...
