This beautiful Black Cockatoo snuck in tonight and I was pleased my camera was hand armed with the zoom lens. Nothing pretty about this picture but it makes a statement. Hey Wombats make sure you keep your water bowls full to the brim!

Thankfully the weather has been very mild over the past three days. Just hoping it keeps up when DollyKGray arrives on the weekend. We have a “Pot Luck” catch up happening at Wombat Hollow on late Sunday afternoon. The Blackheath Blippers are a very generous bunch and always turn up with the most delicious food. Makes it very easy to entertain them, that’s for sure :)
