Hmmmm

It looks like those two Wombats are back in residence. What do you think Charlie? The grey Currawongs were scrabbling around in the undergrowth late this evening. I had a bit of a chuckle when I saw the pair of them peering over the top of one of the bird bowls looking curiously at the open windows.

It has been another incredibly hot day today and we have been bunkered down at home. We had a visit this afternoon from our two angels Bob and Irene and it was great to be able to thank them for looking after us so well why we were away. We had collected a bag of goodies for them from the Yarra Valley and they seemed quite delighted with the contents. They are a couple of foodies so it was good to see their eyes light up :).

According to the weather bureau we are in for three more days of this heatwave before we have any relief. I decided I would go online and organise an order from Woolworths this afternoon. It will be delivered to home between 8.00 and 11.00am tomorrow morning (free delivery). Can’t complain about that and it means we won’t starve while we’re holed up here at the hollow :)
