Blackbird

It has snowed on an off all day.  Dancing at Strathaven has been cancelled, also the Burns Supper being held at the Ladies Circle in church.  

I watched this blackbird try desperately to get some food from our feeders, so difficult for birds in this weather.  I put out some food just for him.  

So I guess you could say this is a black and white photo (with a touch of orange)

And thinking today of Lindsay who gave birth to our grandson 22 years ago today. She would be so proud of him today!! We had his celebration on Friday because of work commitments. I think of Lindsay every day but this is special!
